Christy Lewis, Owner / Administrator

Welcome to Creative Kidz Academy, Inc. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Christy Lewis, and I am the owner and on-site administrator of Creative Kidz Academy. I am a proud mother to five beautiful children, ages 27, 21, 17, 6 and 2 years. I have been in childcare for almost thirty years, beginning as a toddler teacher and advancing to preschool. After hard work and furthering my education in the Early Childhood Development program, I was promoted to director of a local center. I worked hard to bring the dream of Creative Kidz alive, and in 2004, we opened our doors! I am happy to provide your child with an atmosphere that is loving, caring, and educational. The success of your child will always be my primary concern.

Cynthia Okuwa, Director

I would also like to welcome you to Creative Kidz Academy. I am Cynthia, your center Director. I have been in the childcare field for almost thirty years. I began as a terrific two's teacher and advanced into administration. In 2014, I was promoted to director of Creative Kidz. My number one focus is the safety and well-being of the children in our care. I look forward to helping your children grow and learn in a safe, healthy, and educational environment.

Shannon Fowler, Assistant Director

My name is Shannon, and I am your Assistant Director. I am also a proud mother of three beautiful children—two adults and a teenager. I have taught for almost thirty years, starting as a toddler/twos then as a Pre-k teacher. In March 2022, I was promoted to the admin team. My specialty is younger preschoolers; however, I have worked with and love all ages. My goal is to ensure every child that graduates from Creative Kidz Academy is ready for the next chapter in school.

Christopher Cortez, Assistant Director

My name is Christopher Cortez, and I am one of the Assistant directors of CKA. I have been working here straight out of high school at 18 years old and started as a part-time cook. I then became the lead teacher of the school-age class, worked part-time in toddlers, and worked as a co-teacher in pre-k 2. I was promoted as an assistant director early 2023. I have been in childcare for almost 6 years and my goal has always been to ensure every child feels safe and loved at Creative Kidz.
